This Arizona Wood Sign is available in 1ft, 2ft, 4ft, or 6ft sizes. Any color is also available or keep it rustic with the natural wood color variation. You can also select an interior/exterior urethane finish. The exterior finish provides excellent protection from sunlight, rain and moisture, and temperature changes, therefore you can hang the state shaped wood sign on the exterior of your home or office! Hang the 1ft state shape sign with mounting tape, and the 2ft wooden state sign using a nail with the built in hanger. The 4ft and 6ft wooden state sign hangs on your wall using the built in wooden french cleat with included screws. Therefore, no additional hardware is needed.

I hand select every pallet board considering how each one will add to the Rustic Arizona Wood Sign. Pallet boards vary in character from saw marks, nail holes, knots, grain, and natural color. I process each board by hand from cutting, trimming, sanding, assembly, and finishing.

I make these with seasonal wood changes in mind, therefore I use mortise and tenon joinery. Mortise and tenon has been around for thousands of years, so you know your wooden state sign will last. Real wood boards should not be restricted with screws or nails attached to a backing like you see on other wooden state signs. The pallet boards need to expand and contract with seasonal changes in temperature and humidity. Restricting the movement of this real wood state sign can cause problems with the stability of its construction. Mortise and tenon joints without a double layer backing allows the wood to breathe, and reduces the amount of weight on your wall. Handmade quality that lasts generations!
