Simply peel and stick the wall paneling and you’ll have a reclaimed wood accent wall that is a true centerpiece! Every board goes through an extensive handmade pick and process. These peel and stick wood wall panels make installation easy for you, not a construction project full of headaches.
First, I harvest your peel and stick wood wall panels from pallets. The nails are removed. Now the fun begins. I sand every pallet board splinter free. This reveals its true character exposing the distressed nature of each board, nail holes, saw marks, bumps and scratches, even grain patterns.
I plane each pallet board to 1/4″ thick which makes it light-weight on your walls and easy to peel and stick with mounting tape. I cut the ends of the boards at 90 degrees and to a length between 1 – 4 feet. This allows the boards to fit perfectly end on end without large gaps of bare wall underneath. Every pallet board tends to be around 3 1/2″ wide, but not all boards are consistent. That causes real problems when trying to match up wood wall panels end on end. Each board is rip cut to a consistent 3″ width.
Any color is available for you to choose, not limited by the gallery pictures here. Based on your color preference I’ll stain or paint the boards, or you can also choose to leave them to their natural color. Pallet boards can have who knows what on them, so they should be sealed. Therefore, I seal every wood wall panel with a satin finish.
Lastly, I apply mounting tape to the back of each reclaimed wood wall panel. This allows for simple DIY peel and stick installation. Simply peel and stick the panels onto your wall. It’s so easy, the whole family can help. You can be assured your peel and stick wood wall panels are splinter free, clean, and truly add an element to your home or office that will be a conversation starter.
